With the introduction of iOS 14, you can now customize your iPhone app icons with the Shortcuts App. Here is a Set Different of Icon Packs which will Cater to your needs and different tastes.

Each icon pack comes with the background image as shown above.

You will get a .png file and it will be easy for you to change the icons as per your needs the icons are small on the purpose you can crop it in such a way it will best suit your home screen setup.

If you are having difficulty in choosing a color u can buy the bundle which comes with different colors and for a lower price.

HOW TO ADD CUSTOM APP ICONS

You will get the file in (.zip) format After Extracting that your ready to follow the next steps.

1. Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone / iPad

2. Tap on + on the top right to add a new shortcut

3. Tap the + Add Action button in the new shortcut

4. Tap the 'Scripting' option

5. Tap the 'Open App' option

6. Choose the app you want to customize with new icon

7. Tap on the ellipses icon in the blue circle (below 'Next' button)

8. Tap on 'Add to Home Screen' button

9. Add the name of the app and tap the default icon > Choose Photo

10. Choose your icon from the Limitless icon pack

11. Tap 'Add' on the top right of your screen

12. Your new app icon will be added to your device.

I know this feels like a lot of steps but it's very easy to run through this in a few seconds. 

Also when opened, it will first redirect to Shortcuts app and then open the actual configured app. There is no way to get around this in iOS at the moment. But yeah the interface does look different and fun.
